Who am I?

I have always been active in the Transport, Logistics and Maritime industry. 
I have worked for the largest part of my career for the market leader in the Heavy Lift and Transport industry in various positions. The second half of my career in general and commercial management positions. I had the opportunity to start new business within the existing organization, which is where my passion for startup activities started. Working closely with different people and building teams was a fantastic experience! 
After 18 years however, I felt it was time for a change, and I decided to leave. 
I worked at several smaller companies, all in start- and scale up phase. Working for smaller companies challenged me to think differently and look at growing business in a wider perspective. I further discovered that putting people in their strength will generate benefit for all. In this process, giving trust and empowering people is crucial.
Using this experience has enabled me to create successful teams, which concentrate on adding value to the customer.  
I get a lot of energy from the dynamic and innovative surroundings of start- and scaleups, I loved to be a part of the growth of both people and business.   
During my 25+ years career I have experienced both successes, as well as failure, both of which I would like to share to help others!
